Retreat
Center
We
have a newly remodeled retreat center available which features
sleeping space for up to 30 people in bunk beds, a large
open meeting area, tables and chairs for up to 70 participants,
a fully equipped kitchen, lake-front view and shower facilities.
Costs for overnight use is $10 per person, $200 minimum
payable in advance to reserve your date. Cost for day use
is $4-6 per person with a minimum of $150 to reserve your
date.
Pavilions
We
have two covered pavilion areas that are available for
group rental. Our main pavilion is able to seat 200 at picnic
tables. This pavilion has nearby access to the beach. Our second pavilion
seats up to 80 people and is near the bathrooms and paddleboats. Costs for group rental of either pavilion is $4
per person with a minimum of $150 to reserve your date. If swimming is desired, an additional fee will be charged for lifeguards.
Large
Groups
Large
groups may reserve the entire facility for day use during the off-season months
of September-May for a flat fee of $600 for the first 4 hours of use and $100 for each additional hour, paid in advance.
Reservations

to verify available dates. If the date is available, you
will be sent a contract, which will need to be completed,
signed and returned with your deposit to confirm your reservation.
All applications are considered on a first-come, first served
basis.
Swimming
Safety
Swimming
is not permitted without trained lifeguards. If your group wishes to swim, you must have a minimum
of two waterfront certified lifeguards on duty. If you chose to provide your own guards, we will need copies of the certification
with your registration. If Lake Nixon lifeguards are needed, an additional of $30 per hour will be charged.
Expectations
All
groups and individuals using our facilities are expected
to uphold the spirit of Lake Nixon. Lake Nixon is dedicated
to God and seeks to bear a Christian witness. Therefore,
Christian ideals are expected of those who share our camp
facilities. Children are to be supervised at all times.
There will be no use of alcoholic beverages or non-prescription
drugs. Because of extreme fire danger, smoking and fireworks
are not permitted anywhere on Lake Nixon premises.
Pets are not allowed on the Lake Nixon property.
Groups are expected to maintain the facilities by regular
pick up of paper, disposal of trash, etc., throughout their
event.

We are no longer open to the public on weekends. All entrance is by contracted private parties only.
